Aras Slainte, Dennehys Cross, Cork

This project involved the complete upgrade and refurbishment of the ground and first floor areas in the HSE Administration Premises at Aras Slainte. These projects were carried out in two separate phases.

Matt O’Mahony & Associates Ltd provided mechanical and electrical (incl. Security and data) services installation design and specification as well as construction co-ordination and monitoring services for the project.

Part of the first phase of this project involved the creation of a unified Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Room in the ground floor of the premise. This rooms serves the communications and data services requirements of the acute hospitals in the Cork area. This aspect of the project involved the relocation and amalgamation of two existing independent rooms.

Project Details
Matt O’Mahony & Associates provided the design and specification services for the new structured cabling services to the room, the new fibre data/communications connections to the room, the air conditioning services and the fire suppression system for this room.
